Creating TomeRaider Documents (TR)
As much as I like the excellent Tomeraider reader, I am still questioning their business model:
Firstly, they are selling multi platform ebook/database reader. As what they explain to me, "The reason each version costs money is that they are entirely separate products, and with TomeRaider, as opposed to pay for the texts to read with it, you pay for the reader."
Secondly, supposedly if the first one is true, they should persuade people to create as much as possible TR documents (like MS giving away its .lit engine via Word add in, overdrive, mobipocket publisher and others). However, to make a TomeRaider file all you need is TomeRaider for Windows for £10.
