Misleading Article from Microsoft on Pocket PC Reader
I just visited PocketPc.com today and saw the main article is about Pocket Reader. In the article, it wrote:
"Microsoft Reader uses ClearType® technology, so that your Pocket PC displays sharp, clear text for reading that’s easy on your eyes. Choose from hundreds of eBooks—including the latest best-sellers and the classics, children’s books and biographies, poetry and mysteries. Start with the 30 titles that are included with your Pocket PC on the Microsoft ActiveSync® CD-ROM.
Then expand your library by downloading eBooks from sites such as the Barnes and Noble eBook Store. Transfer the eBooks to your Pocket PC when you sync with your desktop, or download them directly onto your Pocket PC using wireless Internet services."
As we know that most of Pocket PC owners (except iPAQ) will never be able to read todays best seller with Pocket Reader due to their cancellation in updating the Pocket Reader to be able to read the evil DRM5. And major ebook stores like BN and Amazon only selling the DRM5 ebooks which is not compatible with Pocket PC. But this information is not stated in the article yet.
