freeLIT 1.0
A freeware .LIT compiler for MS Reader eBooks. FreeLIT is royalty-free and can be used alone or as a back-end for other commercial eBook generation applications. When run, freeLIT will display a small progress dialog with the caption "Compiling ebook...". When finished, the compiler automatically terminates itself. You can check the log file for any errors. Complete instructions are in the accompanying readme file.
NOTE: freeLIT requires the MS Reader SDK, which can be downloaded from Microsoft. Usage of the litgen dll and supporting SDK files REQUIRES an ISV license from Microsoft. Publishing of MS Reader eBooks REQUIRES a Publishers license from Microsoft. Licenses are currently free, but that may change.
