There are lots of famous ebooks posted in alt.binaries.e-book recently (I mean really-really famous), but they are in html and text format. Remember to use readerworks to convert html to .lit. And also if there is text file with carriage return on every line used my method posted last month to change it to paragraph type. If you see the file extention is .rar you need winrar to extract it.
