Garageband Records invites musicians to upload their music to the garageband.com site, where it is reviewed and rated by a growing audience of loyal registered users. The Company's on-line talent-vetting process is based on Garageband's proprietary LPE (Lathroum Preference Engine)TM comparative ranking and audience preference engine, which allows listeners to rate anonymously streamed songs from Garageband Records Artists. The LPE eliminates biases that are inherent in virtually every other form of voting on the Internet and also generates precise awareness of each band's appeal that is used in turn to focus marketing and promotion strategies. Garageband has applied for five patents on this and other elements of its proprietary technology.
Bands singled out by the LPE process are invited to become a Garageband Records Artist and work with Garageband to forward their careers.
