No Paper
No Library? No Problem -- ebooks to the Rescue!
How does a library continue to provide books to over 70,000 citizens without librarians, administrative staff, or even a building? That's the problem Barbara Shapiro, Director of the Cherry Hill Public Library, encountered as construction of a new 71,000 sq. ft facility began in August.
The resourceful librarian teamed up with Digital Library Reserve, Inc., the leading provider of library solutions for lending of popular digital materials and OverDrive Inc., a leading digital content vendor, to develop the Cherry Hill eBook Catalog and Download Center, an online website where patrons can browse, check out, and download popular fiction and reference materials.
